This might be an unusual question...
There is a 4piston racing-brake system, which is street-legal on my car. I`ve payed some $$ in the past to have my papers changed accordingly.
This brake-system costs 2500 Euros new, what is too much for me this year.
But I saw the same model of calipers for sale (good price) for the VR6 models of VW (Golf, Corrado, Vento).
I don`t think the calipers can be mounted plug and play, but is there a chance to make them fit ? Any experiences ?
Thanx

Doubt it. More than likely, the rotor "hat" is different from the VR6 kit and definitely the mounting brackets.
Well, let me rephrase that. You can probably make it fit but will it cost more or less than the advertised price for the correct kit?

Then all you need to do is fine another person who is willing to lend you their caliper mount adapters and get it copied at some machine shop. Might be easier said than done.

I have one of the best shops available... They helped me to work my header`s collector and my seat console....
In this case... would you buy an AP-Racing 4 piston set for $300 ?
