Default b16 turbo done... or just started?!

First of all, i'd like to thank Honda-Tech for all your help and support... couldn't have done it w/out you guys.

Also i'd like to thank CRP turbo for making me a sweet manifold and downpipe!!!

and thanks to honda for making such awesome, easy to work on cars. so much space for a turbo haha

The install was about 8 hours total over 2 days. Custom charge pipes are tricky and requires lots of cutting.

JB weld is the ****. I used it on my oil return and my BOV. not a hint of a leak, this **** works ******* awesome. make sure you let it dry overnight like i did so it's hard as steel

The Tial 38mm wastegate kicks as and sound insane when it opens up... at 5lbs where i have it set

The b16a2 is pretty quick at 5lbs! i was 155 na, guessing ~190 with some freaking torque now!

Also thank god for uberdata! car is smooth and tuned my ME! took me 2 burns and 1/2 hours to get flat 11:1-10.7 AF's (nice and safe man! CA 91 octane sucks!)

I basically guessed with the adjustments after taking notes from my first run... some how hit the nail head on! right were i wanted it to be, time for some cruising.

COPS ARE EVERYWHERE car isn't quite stealth anymore... haha open down pipe and a FMIC kinda give it away. DSM BOV is to quiet for me (fluttering too ? )

everyone is trying to race me! but when the convertable cobra showed up, i had to give it a go, pulled 1/2 a car by the top of 2nd then i shut down, 60mph is fast enough in a 45 zone besides i was already in head of him!

Hopefully i'll have time to take some pics at the shop tomorrow, still need to connect the downpipe with the exhaust (need to go to the muffler shop) need to raise the front of the car like an inch, can't afford to hit the down pipe on anything

time for sleep!

hardly any lag thanks to the crp manifold! Hits 5lbs by ~2800 rpms in 4th and 5th 3200-3500 in 3rd, 3800 in 2nd and like 4500-5000 in first.

maybe a 96-98? i'm not sure...

pics will be up today!

PROBLEM: burns oil when the rpms drop in neutral... but no other times as far as i can see...

i think it's the oil return like not being direct enough...

The JB weld is such a contrast to your nice manifold. Get it welded before you lose your motor.

What i really want is an aftermarket oil pan with a return already in there!

but the jb weld is working great. I have a Oil pressure gauge so hopefully i catch any problems. Not a drop of oil yet...

For sure!

By the way, i an exhaust part welded up to connect the downpipe and the cat back yesterday. Super quiet until that wastegate opens, but i took off the block of plate where the e-cutout is going to so because it was just WAY to restrictive. Felt like i lost 30hp!

RS*R catback (good for n/a) for sale or trade for 3 inch exhaust! lol
