There was once a guy who posted a pic of a really nice laptop setup in his car. I had like a swivel stand mounted to the side of the shifter console I think. What this topic is about from what I see is basically a stand to tune and view datalogging info more conveniently(how do u spell that?). Where did that pic and member go anybody???

I mount mine on the passenger seat like my boy Brian. That **** was mad helpful when he had to check da NaWz levels when he raced Dom, nah'm sayin'?!

/end silly ricer sequence

I put mine on the passenger seat or have my tuner hold it in his lap when i'm driving around datalogging etc.

I used to bungee strap mine to the pass. seat when I was datalogging my 1/4 runs. Now that the seat is gone, think I'm going to come up with a velcro strap attached to the car to secure the laptop during a run.

start the datalog recording, shut it, strap it, run it.

http://www.ram-mount.com/laptopcomp.htm

My dad uses these mounts on his boat to keep all of the GPS units, depth finders, and digital maps in place.

My dad is also a distributor for these. PM if you're interested.

Launching at 8000rpm and cutting 1.60 60', yeah it'll move all around the car if its not strapped.
