Default want to do junkyard turbo on my LS!! need advice

I have a 93 civic hatch with a 95 b18b non v-tec. I would like to put a turbo on it but nothing expensive and not looking for big power results right now. I would just like to get the basics for now till i save for a rebuild to handle big boost. My friend has 2- turbos off of a older dodge spirit r/t and a new rebuilt kit for $80 so i just need a manifold, downpipe, BOV, ect. Where can i get a manifold for my motor and is there anything i should worry about or little tricks to turboing these motors. How much boost 8psi? any advice would be great.

All I can recommend to you is to read up in the FI forum that where I have learned all of my knowledge on FI. You can try the calssifieds on here to pick up a used manifold or something that could possibly save you a few bucks. Just me .02!!!

id say pick up a cheap DSM turbo and boost to about 8psi. im sure you could push higher, but 8psi is a nice, safe number and you should definately yield good gains
