car sounding better but still not starting! code 22 every time!
i went back to my car after it shut down 6 days ago . i go to start it befor i try anything and i hear signs of life but still no good , i have to floor the car to have it started , like its not on all cylinders or somthing . its throwing a code 22 every time i try to start it , even if i reset the ecu im stumped , i change the cap , rotor , coil , injectors are new rc440's.

i still need to double check the wiring . but what i did was whiped all the plugs dry and put them back in , i cranked it like 5 times . then pulled the plugs again , only wet plug was #4 . so i dried that plug and put it back in . i pulled the connector off of #4 and put it on injector 3 and cranked 5 times . that injector was dry . i still need to double check the wiring , but is it safe to say that 3 of my rc440's took a crap?

well guys , it turns out it was my ecu....or was it muhahahahaahaa.....
naw i put my obd1 p28 in , and it starts up like a champ , runs good . i drive it for a few hours and its great , im thinkin **** ya its all good . well i go home to pack , then i come out to start the car to warm it up . i go inside and when i come out the car is shut off . im like WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!! so i turn the key to the on position again and i cant hear my fuel pump prime , and i have a walbro 255 that thing sounds like a jet engine when it primes . so i test the wire on the plug to the fuel pump relay , and every time i tough it with the noid light the pump turns on , so its the ecu again???? what the **** is that about!! im thinkin my wiring harness is fucked causing the ecu to short out or somthing.....i dont know whats up . any ideas?

maybe its your main relay??? take it out and resolder it, its quick and easy. the no fuel pump thing is kinda wierd.

i hooked a noid up to a good ground , then stuck it in the fuel pump relay wire on the ecu connector , pump came right on...i pluged in my other bad ecu , the pump primed.
do i dont think its my main relay as its a brand new one
