Default QUESTION ABOUT ELECTRIC SUPERCHARGER

i saw them on ebay and it looks kinda intresting to test out,i mean its gotta give u some power kuz its pumping really hard and fast air in to the intake.does it work?is it worth it?anybody here bought one or try one on their lude?

Tried it a few years back, it actually gave me about 2whp on the dyno and a serious load on my electrical system. I sold it to a guy in Texas who burnt it up in about a month. Avoid it.

you guys prolly wont believe this but i know a guy who did something similar to this, but used a gas weedeater engine instead of an electric motor. it was on a chevy cavalier, believe it or not it worked pretty good. i think he ended up having problems with it leaning out too much.

i knew someone who did something similar cept it was electric and used a plug to the house, spun fast like half the speed of a normal turbo, cept they only had like a 200 ft extension cord, but those 200 feet were fun while it was plugged in...

those things are the biggest load of bullshit ive ever seen. your intake pulls in more air than that electric fan can blow. so in other words it will hurt performance and kill your battery at the same time.
