Get yur car up and see if the shft arm is bent. if not how long u have the car? mine does it time to time, when i stop at a light, then stick it into 1st i have to kinda release the clutch for it to go in all the way. i havent changed my clutch, but i know tats the problem wit the whole thing, and maybe for u too.

The same thing happened to me. The only time i could take it out of neutral was when the car was off. It turned out to be the clutch master cylinder.

Ok peeps....Someone diagnose the problem here. 3 people have had the same problem I've had. I changed my clutch master and slave and the problem persists. I have pedal pressure, but wont go into a gear unless I turn off my car first.
