I have searched but still have a few questions, I have a 01 integra ls, I am getting ready to buy a block and go from there. My question is is the b18a a pain in the *** to put into a 01 ls? I know the main diff. is sensor placement but is there any other diff that you know of(beside the head)? Can the b18a/b use the same pistons/rods and sleeves? Are the cranks the same? Will my ecu work with this block? Thanks!!!

 

Yes, all the internals of the B18A/B are the same. There will be some sensor placement issues but you should be able to figure them out. You may need to get some adapters so take your time. The ECU would work with the block because it's the same bore/stroke/displacement, but you just have to figure out the sensors (ECU kinda needs them).
