Default ls/vtec

hey i really need help with this every where i looked i could not find the answer to this question...if i do the lsvtec ....does the head need to be the same obd of my car? see i have and obdII and im trying to keep it and i need to know if i need an obdII head or if it doesnt matter what obd the head is?please help

nope, doesn't matter. i'd really recommend obd1 jumper harness though. you'll have alot less trouble using an obd1 system and you can use a chipped p28 (pretty cheap).

the heads are all the same cast, sometimes a bit different on sensor location. the main difference will be the sensor harness plugs themselves, and the most difference you'll see is injector pig tails and distributor plugs.
