help, my integra feels like its losing power
well recently (about two days ago) when i drive my car it feels shaky and boggy like its strugling when i give it gas. When starting in first, it feels like the car struggles to go and struggles throughout the whole drive. My friend suggests that in driving one cylinder short and i should replace my spark plugs and spark plug wires, will this solve my problem?
As far as I know, missfiring/firing on less than 4 will throw a check engine light . Make sure your getting spark (check the colour of the plug tips) on all 4 and go from there.
if it is supposed to throw a check engine light, then mayb the wires arent the problem... i thought it might be my exhaust comin off the hanger but it wasnt that either... im confused
So it's not throwing a code?
And you just confused me with:<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by jweezy225 »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">i thought it might be my exhaust comin off the hanger but it wasnt that either</TD></TR></TABLE>

because the car shakes so i thought mayb it was the exhaust making the car shake, but its not... the car shakes while idling... im thinking its my wires because i just cleaned my engine bay the other day, i covered the distributor but not the valve cover... so mayb water shot one of the wires/plugs?

Ok, let's get this straight ... is the car shaking or is it bogging down or both ??

the filter was under the intake manifold, and the tool my friend had wuldnt get it, eh we just gave up but im changin the oil again when i get money together and its gonna get done rite with synthetic... but besides that the car only has 108,000 miles on it
