what is a vacuum line and where are they!

Default what is a vacuum line and where are they!

I have a idel problem with it boucing up and dwon and in the sreach files everyone says to check the vacuum hoses?
were are these things?

no seriously...... they're the hoses attached to the intake manifold...... if you don't know what the intake manifold is, then i'd sell the car...... or go to a mechanic

Anything on your car that is made of rubber/silicone and not filled with coolant or freon. Basically any hose that isn't attached to your A/C compressor (lowest accesory in the engine bay, is run on the same belt as the alternator) or radiator (intercooler looking thing in the front of your engine bay, bigger than the A/C condensor (which also looks like an intercooler)).
