Battery LIght Came On My Cars Dead help ASAP
my battery light came on and i figured my battery was bad so i got a new one and the battery wasn't the problem so i belive its the alternator so i need some helpe getting the old one you i got the top 2 bolts out but the bottom bolt is stuck in there tight any idea's i need some help please
Would your car not start at all with the new battery?
As far as that bottom bolt goes its not just gonna slip out you have to hammer on it a little. make shure not to mess up the threads

yea i put the new battery in the car and it started up but i went to work and on the way home my lights started getting dim and my tach died then soon after my car just died
ok if youw ant the bolt loosen up then buy PB blaster, and spray it on there and let it sit for like 5mins then that thing should come right off.
yep...alternator
one you undo that bolt, you're gonna take it out from the bottom....so you need to step down on the sus. system to take it out

It might not be your alternator it could be something else if I were you I would use a impact wrench on the bad boy no im just joking dont use that it could break **** fast after youve removed it take it to autozone and they should have a bench tester they can tell you if its working or not if it is its something else in your charging circuit I cant tell you what but most likely its your alternator.
