Dumb question about synchros
you should be able to
the syncro itself should have sharp peaks and should not have any roundness to them
also you need to check the selector collar and the gear engagement teeth that the selector collar mesh with and make shure there is no wear
all three of the parts mentioned should have sharp points to them and should have no smashed or displaced metal
