bad vibration question
i have a bad vibration in the right front, mainly in 2nd gear only. anything above 3rd and it seems to stop. the balance is fine, and the lugs are tight. anyone had this problem before? any suggestions as to what it could be? ive checked for loose parts, to no avail.

have you done anything to your exhaust? i think on the cat if you dont use those spring bolts and you just use regular ones then it can make alot of vibration

Try accelerating in 2nd gear, and then take your foot off the gas pedal. If the vibration stops when the throttle is closed, then your problem is one of the inner CV joints. Time for a new axle.

Re: bad vibration question (PatrickGSR94)
it wouldnt the cat, although that rattles at times. i posted something similar a while ago and said i thought it might be a cv joint but someone said id only feel that when turning. either way, patrick, i think youre right. it might just be that. good thing i planned on new axles anyway. ill try decelerating and see if the viration goes away. thanks for he help.
