Who has the highest boost on stock b16 engine?!
Hallo,
at the moment i run aprox. 8,6 psi (0,6 Bar) boost on my totaly stock b16a1 block (stock internals, stock compression, only bigger injectors and free programmable ecu)
who else run such a setup and how much boost you run?
i want a little more but i'am not sure where the limit is. i plan a water injection too to rise the point of detionation and running more boost...
do you think with good tuning 11-13 psi is possible? or is this too much?
Greets

completely untuned at 10psi??? how can that works? he must run totaly lean under boost with the stock setup or did he running an fmu or something?
completely stock is hard to beleave in my oppinion.
@4-banging: how long did you run this setup? any problems? whats the mixture under boost? 12,5:1 or 12:1 or richer?

how much boost isnt the question, its how much HP on what gas with which turbo. Me saying i am running 10.29 PSI (.7 BAR) on my tiny T3 60/48/60 trim is no where near the same as running 10 PSI on say a SC61.
Go to boosted-hybrid.com and look in the dyno sheets forum.. there are a few B16's in there, with specs and dyno sheets/AF numbers. It will help give u an idea
