Default fuel pressure / cat or gutted cat

my friend has a h22a4 turboed with 8 lbs what should he set the fuel pressure at ,also should he leave his stock cat on or gut it, also is there any way he can upgrade his downpipe , and DO 3 IN cat back with out making the boost go up can he control this with a electronic boost controller thanks for any info .

Is it built? He should at least get a wideband o2 and do some street tuning.

Please retype what you want to say, it is very difficult to read.

I thought there was emissions testing in NYC... replace it with a high-flow cat.

If he was not able to control his boost with an electronic boost controller then what would be the point of buying it?

i know his turbo kit came with a 1 7/8 down pipe should he upgrade it to a bigger size , what size should he upgarde it to . also should he punch out his cat or leave a stock cat on a turboed cAR.

If he doesn't have to deal with emissions then gut the cat. I'd uprade to at least a 2.5 inch down pipe for starts. I hope that engine is built or else it won't be lasting too long at 8psi unless he knows a superb tuner.

WELL HE HAS A GREDDY KIT I THINK HE RUNNING 7-8 LBS OF BOOST , SHOULD HE GUT HIS CAT. WHAT DO U THINK HE SHOULD DO? ALSO IF HE DOES A GUTTED CAT WILL IT UP HIS BOOST

I said in my previous post to gut the cat uness there are emissions to worry about. Gutting the cat will not up his boost. It will make the exhaust less restrictive.

ok thanks for the info uncle . what should the fuel preesure be on a turboed prelude. also if he does an 2.5 in down pipe what size exhayst piping should he do ?
