zex kit question

Default zex kit question

i just put a zex kit on my integra witha b16a swap, i have intake header and ext with msd and fuel pressure reg i was wondering what shot shold i run or what will be safe a 55 65 or 75 i would really app if some body could answer me.

I think i read on zex.com once that if you are using upgraded engine components other than I/H/E you should contact zex for more info on how to run safely. I'm sure they would be able to tell you how much you can run....

65 shot with 75 fuel jet, set timing to 14 BTDC, and fuel pressure at 50-52 psi with vacuum line disconnected.

In order to run the 75 shot you HAVE to have a better fuel pump.

ok, this is a zex kit he's talking about. i ran 75 shot all day long with my kit. all i had was intake, header & exhaust. all you need to get is colder plugs and retard your timing. yes, a better fuel pump would be recomended, but not nesesary.

well if the botttle pressure gets above 1000 psi, stock pump won't keep up. I found this out when I left car in the hot sun waiting for staging lanes to open.

Burnt #2 piston, 15% leakdown, still runs just the same!
