Default hondata vs. greddy elec. gauge boost reading

My car has been tuned about 2 weeks now. My MBC setting changed and I reset it to about where it was on the dyno. I know it's not the most scientific method, but I'm still on a stock map and my car was tuned at 10.5psi. Fast forward to the test drive to test it and my gauge showed .9 bar with no codes. I also have an egt gauge in my car and it reads between 750C-820C at WOT. The car also has not thrown any codes either. The source for my gauge is fed off a vacuum block. Has anyone had experience with this difference in readings?

I plan to upgrade to the datalogging option of my hondata also later down the road. thx.

.9 bar is 13.23 psi, that is significantly higher than the 10.5 you said it was tuned at. I'm not completely sure what you're asking, or where the EGT comes into play. Maybe try having your gauge read from the intake manifold, that should tell you what psi is actually going into the cylinders. If anything, I would imagine you would see a pressure drop from the compressor output to the Intake manifold depending on your IC. Just not 100% clear what you are asking.

if you were really running 13.xx psi, you would throw a cel, or atleast if the map sensor read that high... So i'm guessing your still at the same boost you were at when you tuned, but either your map sensor, or boost gauge are off, my guess is the boost gauge, if that is what your asking, it was rather unclear.

I am more or less looking for ideas. I'm guessing at this time my gauge is 1.5psi off, but until I can datalog my map, I'm not completely trusting my egt reading.

I only mentioned my egt's as seemingly they would soar during a lean condition, i.e. more boost.

Moreso, I turned my MBC down. thanks for all your ideas. Work has me scatterbrained today.

Its not surprising to see boost gauges off by a PSI or so.
Also, the map sensors tend to read slightly lower.

To clarify, the map sensor isnt exactly reading low, just the translation of psi to voltage tends to be lower sometimes, depending on what software your using to get
the translation.

It shouldn't go past 11 or 11.3psi on the stock map without a CEL. Did Jim set any kind of boost cut? Also, your boost gauge could be off 1psi. I know mine is slightly off. Let me know if you need any local help.
