what is ls-vtec, how is it different from vtec?

They are the same. Ls is just the car the motor comes out of. Its an acura ls and when you slap a vtec head like a b16 head or b18 head it makes it vtec. Thats why its called ls-vtec. There is also cr-vtec which is a b20 that comes out of the honda crv and once you throw a head on its cr-vtec. hope this helps.

There are a bazillion posts. Go to the search button up top. Put in LSVTEC, or LS-VTEC or any other form of LSVTEC, and do an archived search...you'll find a bunch of posts. (FYI, don't limit your post to a certain section of the board, just do a full forum search!)
