do i need oil squiters on a high boost motor??
the k20a3 doesnt have oil squiters as a k20a2 do. should i be fine without them on the built a3. i'll be installing pistons and rods on the block, but do i need to install oil squiters along with the other mods???
thanks. Damian

oil squiters help cool the pistons. If the stock motor doesn't have them then you won't need them with forged materials.
when building B series some people plug the oil squiters (clearance issues I believe) when using forged internals. If it were me I'd bend them and leave them there

exactly they help cool the pistons
just cause the internals are forged doesent mean thier indestuctable just better than cast, if i had the piston cooling nozzles id keep them and would not plug them.
if i dident have them as in the a3 block then you have no choice, ecept to get anotherblock if you really want them but if your power goals arent in the super high hp range i wouldent worry...

im not really looking to change the block, but if i have no chance. is it posible to have a machine shop install them on the block??
