car burns oil quickly.....whats up with that?
ever since I got my bottom end/motor rebuilt (eagle rods, arias pistons, also cam and minor head work/bigger turbo) I go through a quart of oil like every week....
I dont drip oil, my garage floor dosnt have a single drip....it must be all burning up in the cylinders.....is this normal for a built motor...? Is it something I should be worried about...?

10W30.....
Is it bad for the motor....? even if I just add the quart every week...? The cylinders had to be bored in order for the pistons....I was afraid there is a crack on the sleeve or something, but wouldnt that burn oil....or would it...?

Are you constantly running at high rpm's??? still it shouldn't be burning oil that quick. I'd take it back to whomever built it and ask them WTF is up

I would tell him to do it free of charge...he fucked up right?
OT ...but about how much did it cost you for the piston job, I'm looking into raising the CR and boring out the chambers???

it was about $150 to bore them out....
the cost will come mostly from the instal of the parts...
could it be oil seals....or valve seals...? If it was piston rings, wouldnt the car run funny...?

If your burning oil it is either the rings or the valve seals. The valve seals can be replaced without even taking the head off and it's pretty cheap. On another note if you just had your cylinders bored and new pistons/rings installed it is normal to burn off some oil untill the rings are seated in the bores. This is just like breaking in a new engine and you should follow the same steps as stated in the owners manual for new car break in. I have a question though if you had all this work done why diddn't you have the valve seals replaced while the motor was apart? just curious....good luck.
