the resleeving process
forgive me for asking this question as i am a noob. but what do they have to do when they resleeve a block. cos the sleeves are like $600 and the install is about $1000. so what is involved in the installation process
you shouldnt pay more than $85/sleeve, and $500 for the machining to re-sleeve the block.
they bore out the old cylinders, down to the very bottom, making 3 different cuts. then they "freeze" the block and slip the new sleeves in.
so total cost shouldnt run over $850.
