EG w/ gsr shifter..... ???

Default EG w/ gsr shifter..... ???

Im looking to replace my civic dx shifter w/ a gsr shifter... I know where the difference lies between the two cause ive owned a gsr but im not sure if it would be a perfect fit?!

just wondering if it would be a perfict fit ????

anyone ever do that????

Im looking for some comments and suggestions???

well, do you have a GSR swap for starters? it does fit to answer your question. i use my civic linkage, even though i have a GSR swap. just my preference.

they have a different angle and the shifter is kinda weird crooked bent.

I have one.
It feels 20 times better, but i also changed my bushings with energie bushing.

if you keep the civic shift linkage, you'll have to bend it, or cut a small part of the shifter.

I did it, and it was 2am and I was under the car, and I jsut bent to the shiftlinkage, no regrets. it works fine.

yeah... noticably diff... its almost like an oem short shifter...

I drove a gsr for over a year and the shifter really grew on me..


but anyways... thx for all your help guys...

the biggest difference is that it help people who are big, and sit back alot. Doesn't make you reach for the shifter it's right there. The trows should be some what the same.

gsr swap with the shifter works great in the EG
i like the feel of it
tight too
and I feel no need for the short throw shifter

I like the GSR shifter. It sits off to the right, but it feels very natural to me.

hhmmm... im not sure... i never really drove a base model teg.... they might be...

i just posted it as gsr shifter because im getting a cheap gsr shifter..
