Removing that restrictive resonator may be good for something as little as 1 hp. However, loud does not always mean more hp.

Pff, who needs license plate frames? My front license plate is zip-tied to my bumper. Seriously, it is.

Wow, me too. Before I knew a thing about cars I bought a 2001 Accord and got a kit on it and now have to use zipties to hold the plate on. It sucks.

Note: I now own an H22 powered 90 Accord and B16 Sol also. I have matured a little bit.

Back to the topic, I like to hear the air sucking into my engine. Resonators suck. Oh, and I love to hit VTECH at least 3 times a day.

ok......since noone will answer........

intake resonator restricts air flow, and forces the sound to bounch around inside of it........thus helping to eliminate sound.........

Gains that somewhat similar sound but the airflow isn't quite as good. Of course you aren't looking at too much power in air intakes anyway. If you actually want the sound and a bit more power do the stock box K&N filter deal. It works quite well and is pretty cheap. But once again, not much power to gain there either way.

Mine too!

I don't wash the car either, not only does it keep the car held together, it makes it go faster too!
