i have a 98 civic with a 00 dash in it and i was curious if i ran the AEM EMS if you can get a screen put in so you can see the stats of the AEM instead of havin to have a laptop??

 

No...you need a laptop.

You couldnt change/alter the settings with just a monitor. So imo it would be worthless to do this. I would recommend a laptop.

But you could mount a laptop somewhere hidden (make sure it gets cooling air) and run the display to a screen. If you want input you can mount a small USB hub neatly in the vehicle and connect a keyboard or pointing device (I am partial to track *****, especially in an environment like this where there is no good surface for a mouse). Or, even better, go wireless. Run the laptop display to the screen and go with a small wireless keyboard and pointing device.

Hes trying to get rid of using the laptop all together.

oh im sorry mayb i actually mistyped the post....i know you have to have the lap top for tuning....but i just wanted a screen in front of me that i could glance at to check my stats rather then have a laptop out

 

there is a company out there that made a display screen that montiored a bunch of different paramters. If you search I am sure it will show up. It was kind of ugly.
