Default JRSC LIQUID COOLER! PLZ HELP

ok guys, i just ordered a JRSC for my ITR...

i also got the map controller, high perfomance fuel pump and the fuel pressure regulator, all from jackson

i was told by someone that even with the basic 5.5 psi, that i plan to run, that the jackson SC can cause detonation???!

is the Liquid Cooler they sell any good? does it work? Is there anything i can buy for the SC that would cool it better?

i did a search and not quite the info i needed...

thanks guys

i dont want to custom rig anything, so please only recommend something i can buy and slap on if you do recommend

BTW THIS IS MY DAILY DRIVER! NOT A DRAG CAR!

I would invest your money in any kind of better fuel and ignition control. You don't want to pop a b18c5 ! You need to control sparc!

run uberdata + bigger fuel pump + colder plugs + 450cc injectors.

I know a guy who has a jrsc'd CRX and runs 7psi on a d16a6.
his intake temps are a bit high but no detonation

Is this a water-to-air IC?

Also cooler spark plugs are a must. A cooler thermostat helps a bit. I have a bunch of other things done, but if you are running the low boost 5-6, That map controller is the biggest thing that helps. I ran it with no detonation.

thanks for all the info guys

that LHT setup looks crazy

BUT, does anyone know what is needed for it to work?

the actual IC is like $1k, is there anything else that needs to be purchased to make that setup work? they also have some heat exchanger for 335, but im a newb and have no clue what i would need to buy to make that full setup work out...

some more info please
thanks again

The best bang for your buck is the same set up I had last year!

JRSC
CRV crank pulley=9PSI
RC 440 injectors
hondata 2b (a must)
3 inch exhaust or even 2.75...
Good headers like DC JDM 4-1 or kamakazi
walbro 255 intank pump!

properly tuned you will run 250WHP with no detonation or heating problems!!!

Im now experimenting with a custom liquid cooled set up but my old set up ran perfect for over a year!

good luck!

as doe the cooling part and stock boost... thats all you need.. you actually gain a good amount of power just from the intercooler.. but from my point of view its the reliability that it give when you put that intercooler on...i mean the water injection is coo and all but i would really rather have unlimited cooling just my opinion...
