Default What swap should be reliable and put out good HP?

Right now i have a crvtec swap with a b20b block and b16a head... im really not satisfied with it since everything is stock... For the price would it be best to get my current b20 block rebuilt with new rods high comp pistons and what not.. or look for a built block i was thinking maybe pmr or even getting a b18c5 block... what are your thoughts? also im not going to turbo or anything n/a... and its my daily driver so nothing insane
Thanks fellas

-also i have a carfax accnt right now so pm me with the vin and your email if you need one

if you wanna rebuild the block you can always go with forged pistons and rods. also some cams depends on your budget

yeah i was thinking about new forged pist and rods but after getting all the things replaced i figured it would cost as much if not more then a gsr or R block... and i dont really like my b20/vtec as a daily driver... its semi reliable but overheats sometimes and some other crap

some people say a type-r is over rated. I Think a a gsr has just the same amount of potential just alittle cheaper. Dont get me wrong if you have the money then do it. if you dont mind me asking how much did your b20 setup cost?

why dont you like your b20vtec? you dont like the trq? i say get higher compression pistons and call it a day. its better to drive something with more lowend trq everyday....
