Default b20 build?

i am thinkin of using a b20 block wiht Arias rods and cp 9:1 pistons i hear b20 sleeves are really thin i dont think i will have the money to sleeve it but i want to hit 400 to 450whp is a block guard worth it? or should i use a difforent block?

Its not going to hold unless you sleeve it. Rest of the build sounds decent though.

I would not chose a b20 for your goals.Ls or ls/vtec would be the way to go.

i think mine would have lasted a little longer with a block guard, made 349whp on a stock block. sleaved cracked on a cool night.

a buddy of mine just said he would give me a b20 block i also have a LS block so i think i will just use that with the rods and pistons and a block guard but is a block guard even worth it? i hear alot of people say that suck and some say they are good

What setup were you running? Was your b20 sleeved? Ill be running a GT35R @ 12 psi. Will my sleeves hold?

Check my sig for the page, its the same except i have a b16 head on it now. Yes it was golden eagle sleeved, and no definately get it sleeved at that level.

because i dont have the money to do it i never said i didnt want too i really want too but i have to send mine to the states so to get it done plus shipping would be alot of money

ls non-vtec.....thats what i mean. so far this year 30 dyno pulls and two track days at @30psi on a gt4088
