Default TPS help!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have used 2 tps's on my b16 swap....one off of a d-series and another off another b16...the ecu keeps throwing the code for the tps......i have reset the ecu and used both tps...what is the problem.......? the car runs, but does not idle...help fast !

bump cause id like to know to, i heard form somewhere that you could reset the tps, is the possible?

i know it sounds stupid, but make sure your not putting it in upside down. you should have to push it in a little, then rotate it to get it to line up with the screw holes... look and match the plastic piece on the TPS to the notch on the throttle body

should the plugs be up or down when properly installed?

well first off make sure your installing the TPS right. Now looking at your engine the TPS on the back of the Intake mani should be tilted to the left. when your putting it in you have to put the TPS in sideways and then move it back into it's regular position, if you have installed it right have check your voltage settings. there are 3 wires and the ones your are going to us are the Green and Red ones.

Closed is .45 and open is 4.5 Once you get those reset your ECU and it should never come back

sometimes it might not be the tps sensor itself but the wiring. ground, signal and positive. with a test light or voltmeter check for voltage. ecu is not getting the tps signal tats why it illuminate code.
