Default air/fule ratio gauge

does anyone know if the autometer air/fule gauge is any good ? cause i heard some rumors about them not being accurate ,or something if you know any thing about it??or if you know a good air/fule ratio gauge that not too expensive and is electical.

its garbage....get a wideband with a numerical display such as the one AEM sells

autometer air/fuel gauges are fine.. all the ones that i have seen/used or friends have used work mint as long as they are hooked up properly.. and a way to get a better A/R reading is took hook it directly to your ECU!

not everyone has money comin out there *** for a wideband o2..

hi there i have a 1999 honda accord and i am puting a cople of gauges and one of them is the a/f ratio gauge and it said to hook it up to the sending wire on the o2 sensor.... now dos any one know which one is the sender wire on the o2 sensor and dos it mater if its on the primary or secondary o2 sensor plz help me asap

The signal wire you are looking for would be the one from the primary O2. IIRC, It's the White wire (O2 sensor side of connector) or the WHT/RED wire (ECU side of connector). As long as you are not actually planning to use this gauge for anything other than looks, it will work. You will not be able to do any kind of tuning with it using the stock narrow band O2 sensor.

Yes that would be for the 4 wire narrow band O2 sensor.
