Default help me out please...

hey all... i am planning on purchasing an itr sometime within the very near future (still searching), but when i do, i wanna put some type of boost on the engine... just wondering what some of yall think... should i go with a supercharger, or would i be better off turbocharging it? i've heard that a supercharger will balance out efficiency of the power a type r has by giving it more low end power that it lacks when vtec isnt engaged... but on the opposite end of the spectrum, i've seen turboed itr's do some damage on the track... just wanted to get some imput on this... thanks.

well if it is or isnt drive the car for a while first, learn it and how to control the R. then go boost, many people on here would tell you Turbo. i havnt delt with turbo so i cant really say much on that except for what i just said.

Sorry, I just found it hilarious that a PA resident used the word "yall." Most PA residents and/or natives I know make every notable attempt not to.

no this isnt my first car... i had another integra before i started my training... i had to sell it before i left because i am still living at home and my parents didnt want a car to be sitting in the garage taking up space for almost a whole year while i was gone... i got to thinking while i was down here that i can spend a little more money than i did on my first integra and get an itr... but im sure you are right about getting the feel of it before i put any boost on it...

ALL MOTOR!!!

Good luck in your search. I've been thinking about boosting mine but then I come to my senses and realize that a turbo R would do horrible in autocross, PAX-wise (new word) of course.
