besides the fact its OBD2, has a VIN plate the only difference i can think of is the OBD1 motors have a washer, the T belt gear and another washer, whereas the OBD2 motors have 1 piece rear washer/T belt gear and then the standard washer on the crank.

Last I checked, the timing belt on the 94-95gsr had a different part# than the 96+GSR.

I dont think the obd1 blocks had a crank speed fluctuation sensor (CKF). Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

may b a different part # but its the same damn size/length.

this is true. thats the difference in the washers/T belt gear. the OBD2 T belt gears have the rear washer built in with "teeth" to let the CKF sensor "pickup" a reading. FYI, u cannot use a OBD1 oil pump on a OBD2 GSR without modifying that T belt gear.

about the block differences, i have both here in front of me well a 94, and a 98, but the 98 has the dowl pin and the treads to mount the CFS , but like you said if its an obd1 setup your Computer wouldnt know what to do with the sensors readings anyways.

shut the **** up dumbass. all that mumbo jumbo for absolutely nothing.

yes u can plug up a 98 ITR motor to a P28. i think the integra harness is compatible all the way up to 00' to plug right into the shock tower mounts on a civic 92-95.
