I had a lsvtec turbo in my ex, well it was a b20vtec. GSR head and I had boost at 13 lbs from a T3/T04s and 8.9:1 cr via JE dishes. I had timing conservetive at -7 in and +3 ex. Well, it leaned out to 14.4 a/f on the dyno during a 3rd gear pull, damn hondata tuner . Anyway, it was running fine before I wanted more power. Redline for the motor was 7100 rpm but I usaully shifted before that in 2nd 3rd gear. it put down 289 hp at 6800 and torque was huge 201 ft lbs at 5300. The torque curve was very flat. Stock bottom end except the slugs. Never ran at the track though. Just don't get to excited when you want more power, I say build it right the first time so you won't have to worry. Good luck.

And one more thing, Im all motor now in my teg, and i haven't wanted to go back to turbo. There is way more response than turbo and it won't run as hot. And the oil changes every 800 miles sucks. And the blow off valve just gets annoying after a bit of stop and go traffic. I like the sound my engine makes a 9000. YEs, i like that more.

Why not run the BOV back into the intake so you dont hear it? I dont know about you but id take making 300whp and running 12's all day at the track for $1500 then making 220whp for alot more....
