sony xm7557
What are some more of the specs on the sony 7557 - what does the 5th channel pump out @ 4ohms? Is it 2 ohm stable? If so, what is the wattage rating?
If you can give us this info. we can give you some suggestions. If you want more than 1 sub hooked up, there are some wiring schemes that will allow you do it and still see a 4ohm load on amp

The actual size of the driver doenst matter. The impedence is extremely important though. if its one ohm stable as you say, you'll need a pair of 2ohm SVC subs or a pair of DVC subs with 4 ohm VC's.

Yeah, you can hook them all up to one channel. it's like having a mono amp. Only one output. That's why as others stated, at 1 channel, you can only run a DVC or 2 SVC to make it stable at 2 or 4 depending if you wire in series or parallel.
Keep this in mind, the RMS each sub needs to be driven

okay...i got 2 12's in a sealed box...how do i go about connecting them?
do i take teh positve from each sub and join them together and put them in teh positive and take both negatives and connect the together then put to the negative connection on teh amp?
remeber this amp has only 1 subwoofer output channel....only ONE + and -

No, you can run as many subs as you want, and as EBP_SI said the impedence is what is important, [ what the amp sees as the load]
what kind of subs do you have devilpuppy? one voice coil or two? and what is the impedence of the voice coils?
