i know i drive a damn VW lol, but figured for those interested in the gts61e from ITS this is directed towards you just to give you an idea of what to expect...
now i bought this turbo as a temp turbo just to hold me over until my dual ball bearing unit is finished.
so here are the specs and some info.
GTS61e: 61mm inducer 82mm exducer GT compressor wheel, .60a/r ITS t04e housing, o-trim t4 turbine wheel stuffed in a .63a/r t3 4bolt housing.
now my displacment is 1850cc...
compression is 9.25:1, and im running the 20v head.

so with that out of the way i did a few test passes after i put some miles on the rig...
i was seeing 10psi right around 4600rpm in 3rd gear, but once it hits 10psi it instantly jumps to 14psi right at 5k. its alittle laggy in my opinion...
im thinking its this o-trim turbine wheel.
also the setup is far from completely tuned...
im used to making full boost of 20-25psi before 5k in 3rd with my oolder setups
(t3t4e 50trim, 57 trim and GTS61 with a 50trim gt40 compressor)
still alittle early to give it the thumbs down, or the thumbs up...
anyone else running a similar setup willing to share your thoughts?

 

You should of ordered it will a stage 3 wheel rather then the stage 4... This is why I always tell people whats you real hp goal, people always over step the amount of hp they are turely going to run.. a stage 3 wheel would be perfect for you current situation, but I think once you recieve you VV Turbo you be more then happy

also to spark racing: my goals are 500-550whp.
this turbo might flow enough to support it... this is a temp turbo
