Default best mini-me for apex turbo???

well guys, i need some info on a build up. i got a complete apex turbo system with fuel reg, pump, starion i/c and missing link for a Very good price. never used. my problem is that i have a d16a6 and d16z6 long blocks, both might need a rebuilt. i also have a y8 head and I/M. out of all this, what is the best set up for my build?
i was thinking on puting low comp. pistons on the a6 block with the y8 head/I/M and slap on the turbo system??? but what would be the best set up??? any info will help.

i know im new but from what i read i would keep the I/M and sell the Y8 head for the z6 head because the intake ports flow way better all through the power band. Also the Y8 head has high compression compared to the z6. then with the z6 head you might be able to use a thick head gasket and save some money on the comp.
