Resistor box question...did a search

Default Resistor box question...did a search

ok i have a resistor box at my house and it still has all the connectors attached to it....can i just put the 440s in the car and plug in the resistor box(obd1) and call it a night or do i still have to cut wires....


all info will help

I used the plugs, in case I wanted to go back and use Saturated [high impedance] injectors later on...therefore I wouldn't have to cut and solder again...only a plug and play matter.

Sorry you can't see around the clutch MC very well. If you're interested, I could take some better pictures later.

Does it work? If you follow how I did it it wouldn't work. I guess I am lost on what you did.

It isn't. You have to solder connectors into an OBD-1 harness to make it plug and play for the future. One way or another, if you're going to run a resistor box on an OBD-1 car, you are going to have to cut and solder some wires.

ok what i have is the whole injector harness with the resistor box. clips and all...all the wiring even the four or 5 wires that go to the ecu from the injectors...can i just swap all that stuff out for the old....

also theres a yellow wire coming out of the resistor box from a harness that is hanging loose..where does this go..it goes throught the harness and on the other side its red....
