ok this is my issue....i just bought some precision 525 injectors part number pfu-042-0525 and i am putting them into my crx that has a resistor box factory and the car is converted to obd1 do i need to pull the resistor box out?and if so what do i need to modify to do so?any help will be greatly appreciated!

 

your going to need a VOM (voltage, OHM meter.)

your going to need to check the resistance across the two pins on the injector.. if they are low.. under 10 (8-10) ohms, your going to need the resistor box. if they are higher than 10, like 12-15 ohms, your going to need to take the 5 wires that go to the resistor box and twist them all together. it would be easier to just get a plug that is the same as the resistor box, on the resistor box side. strip all 5 wires, and solder them together. then just plug that into where the resistor box WOULD be.

also, this plug makes a GREAT theft deterrent item.
