All the IHI turbos that came on production cars are all to small. Get a T3 off of a thunderbird turbo coupe or Merkur. Some have .48 exhust and some have .63. You'll probably want the .63.

That was one of those T3 60 trims off of a T-bird. Hmm, it seems that there are more and more people doing kits by themselves these days.

There's another one.

I think some of the JDM IHI's might be big enough, although I'm not sure how you'd go about finding one. Plus, where would you get the flange for the manifold?

Youd have to make the flange.

is that from first hand experience of just hearsay..??
has anybody here done this..???

i have a IHI turbo and cooler off a 626,
other turbo components added accordingly, boosting 4-5 daily
and if i make a ghetto mbc 6-7 for track...

but what i really want to know is if someone hear has done this before
because i dont want to spend any more money
just to run off the compressor map.!!

thanks guys
