Default Low Boost, Can it create mass problems?

I have a 90 Integra RS with a Swapped b18a1 (guy before me swapped it instead of rebuilding it) with 60k miles on the engine, compression results were very positive and resulted in excellent numbers across the board, seeing the car was orig automatic it wasn't pushed at all. I did a Auto to Manual swap, engine feels real strong. Now, I'm purchasing a Rev Hard Kit (Stg. 2) soon and will run 7psi without block work. Now, the research I've done tells me I won't run into any problems. I think with the FMU I'll be well away from Detonation, because my car won't see more than 7psi untill I build it up (of course I will put a better fuel management setup on too) So, the real question is would I see alot of wear on 7psi?

Cliffs Notes: Will running 7psi on my Stock B18a1 make me ever throw a rod? or crack a piston?

it all boils down to tuning.. and you cannot tune really with an FMU at all. Will it be reliable? probably. BUT with a standalone, perhaps hondata, you will be MUCH MUCH more better off.. not only will you get better gas milage.. you will get more power, more tunability, which means it will also be much more reliable..as well, the car will drive like a stock turbo charged car if tuned well. Another factor is maintenence.. poor maintenence can lead to problems as well.. I have about 2000 miles on my turbo set up now and the motor is taking 8 psi extremely well.. no signs of wear on the motor yet.. (knocks on wood) I am using hondata and man do i feel alot better off... My part throttle is GREAT, idles like stock, and im making reliable power.. but the only downside i mean is price.. your going from a 200-300dollar FMU to 400-500dollar hondata interface, then u need a chipped ECU (OBD1) (100-200 bucks) , and for 7 psi i reccomend DSM 450cc injectors (25-100bucks depending where u look) Stock fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator are fine.. it works will with my set up. You may be spending more cash, but if your worried about reliability, which almost everyone should be and sounds like you are very concerned about it.. go with hondata.. you will not be un happy. PM me for any questions you may have
