hey guys , i know there have peen posts seeing if their egts or oil pressures are right . but i havent seen any D series numbers .
im wondering what you D series guys are seeing on your guages .
my oil pressure is like 75 on a cold startup , like 23psi at idle when warm . 47 when cruising at 80 on the freeway .

my egt's are 4-600 at idle and about 1200 cruising at 80 on the freeway.

havent done anthing WOT as im breaking in the motor so i dont know those numbers.

 

Where is the EGT probe tapped?

The readings will differ say from the mani compared to the dp.

 

its tapped in the downpipe right after the turbo

 

That sounds about right u loose 200 deg after the turbo. Im at 800 on idle

 

what are you at full boost at wot?

 

Was over 1600 lol now tunned around 1400

 

cool , cause i can almost tell its going to want to peg when i give it wot

 

80psi at start up

20-25 when warm at idle and 75 at WOT

EGT temps are:

600-800 at idle

1400 degrees fahrenheit -1450(the most) cruising around 70-80.

DIDNT REALIZE THIS THREAD WAS FOR D SERIES.. mine is B series yours may be different...

when really hot, drops to like 8-9 psi

exactly same for me.. is it normal to get so low? although the oil pressure always stays about 10psi higher than every 1k rpm. so driving at 3k rpm would put me at 40psi

 

oil cold start-80 psi
cruise-40-45psi
warm idle-15psi

egt at idle is about 700 and no more than 1200 on the highway.

 

cold start like 30 to 40 for me
warmed up idel 20 to 27
wot like 68 70ish

 

im at 12-15lbs at idle.

EGT im seeing up to 1536 at WOT in 4th gear on hard pulls. #3 cyl runner

i have the ziertronix wideband o2 sensor so i can datalog

ill post a graph up. i may still have my timing retarded to much.

My oil pressure is like 100psi at idle then drops all the way down to 10 or so once it is warmed up at idle. Rest is rpm dependent. My EGT still isn't hooked up yet so not sure of it. LoL one of my friends was like holy **** pull over your EGTs are off the charts! LoL he didn't realize it wasn't plugged in.
