installing a new valve cover on 97 civic went well untill i snapped a bolt, newbie with a torque wrench, what am i looking at here can bolt end be drilled out with block in car? any and all help appreciated. can car be driven minus a head bolt? 97 civic daily driven w/ aem v2 intake, dc sports 421 header, random cat, apexi n1 exhaust, neuspeed shortshift & coilover setup, powerslot rotors and hawk pads. the basics on stock d16y8.

 

is it a head bolt or a valve cover bolt? is there ne of the bolt sticking up still if so u can grab it with vise grips and take it out ...

 

valve cover bolt (my bad)and no the remainder is in block

 

u can get bolt extractors kits from sears and stuff to remove it

 

ill have to go to sears then thanks for helping a newbie here much appreciated feedback turbolshatch peace
