Default Fidanza/CM Flywheel

I have been reading up the archive regarding FW/Clutches, and have nailed it down to the following choices.

1. Clutchmasters or Fidanza Flywheel. I read many threads regarding the ACT Prolite which is popular because of cost, but I found the fidanza at this site for less money than the ACT.

Anyone bought from this site before- or is the pricing correct? (I thought Fidanzas are more expensive than ACT?)

I could not find a place online that sells the clutchmaster flywheel. If the CM flywheelis the same price as the fidanza, should i stick to fidanza instead?

2. ACT HDSS (??) clutch- This seem to be the most popular choice, but I have no idea which one this is. I went to clutchcityonline and they have 3 different kinds, anyone care to point out which one this is?

THanks.

I think I've bought from Nippon Power before, but I haven't checked out your link or the price.

Also had a Fidanza flywheel becore, actually called Fidanza originally and they referred me to one of their distributors.
Very well made product, with excellent service.

Can I use the Fidanza with the HDSS together?

BTW, the fidanza is listed for $205 @ Nippon, $245 for the ACT Prolite FW.

The ACT HDSS is about the same price as clutchcityonline for about $440, because I think you don't get free shipping at clutchcity unless you buy the clutch/fw combo.

Do these prices seem inline?

Thanks again.

BTW,
FYI, I did get quoted quoted 1500+ for a clutch/fw replacement at the Acura dealership. Price includes FW replacement, which they 'assumed' was in bad shape as well, and they will 'take 250 off' if they find it otherwise.

The same guys also quote 186+ to replace my battery cables, one of the cable was loose and cannot be tightened. I believe it was 80+ for parts, the rest labor. I figure it was the positive battery post that wore down; I can buy several new batteries for that price.

Certainly, I did.

If you're simply looking for the absolute best price then go with clutchcity.
I don't personally know all that much about the ACT Prolite, but from what I've heard/read ... its a good piece too.

Seems like a nice combo, and ACT certainly seems to know their stuff.

... dealers! hehe

Clutchcity has been very good to me in the past, twice.
ACT and Comptech is what I use and would not change a thing,,, ok maybe make the fw Lighter
