I'm getting an action clutch, I just need to decide between the aasco and fidanza FW. They seem very comparable, which is going to be higher quality? Any input, or should I just get whatever i can find cheaper?

Pretty much all of the aluminum ones are the same. One option to look for is the ability to change the face of it. It screws on and off and is a quicker option than trying to find someone to resurface your flywheel.

I have never heard anything bad about either of those companies or Clutchmasters and ACT.

I heard of those surfaces sepatating and doing major damage thats why i bough an ACT one peace chromoly flywheel, 12.5 pounds and anly $250. cant go wrong with ACT.

I've seen bad things happen with Fidanza's... A few of my friend's were runnin Fidanza flywheels with their ACT clutches (Maxx Xtreme PP w/ 6-puck disk), anyways they both ended up welding the disk to the flywheels after only several launches at the track... If you wanna spend some money on a good clutch/flywheel setup I would check out the Tilton lineup otherwise I would just stick with an ACT clutch.. If you still want a flywheel I would just get something as simple as a Clutchmaster, I haven't seen any problems with the ACT/Clutchmaster combo... On the other had I hate Clutchmaster clutches and have seen them go out after only 6 months... Never have had a problem with a Tilton or ACT tho.. Check out that bad boy!!!! Peace

the AASCO is a pretty good FW... i recommend it. i believe both are actually great brands... comparable.

I personally have a fidanza flywheel in my motor, however after seeing the aasco flywheel , and due to the fact that my pressure plate had to be "persuaded" to fit my Fidanza, I would recommend Aasco.
