JDMShit.com 5 Speed Conversion Mount Issues!!!!
Ok i orderd the EG-AT mount which is needed to do a 5 speed conversion in a eg or dc from JDMShit.com. The problem is the **** wont fit. It bolts on to the tranny no problem, but the rubber mount is to far forward so it wont fit. we have tried everything but nothing is working. We called JDMShit.com and the tell us that numerous people have called saying it dont work, and they reply that we need to put that mount in last and leave the other mount loose and it will slide right in. Well that **** dont work. So if anyone has had this problem and got it work let me no asap!
How far forward is it? Just a tiny bit? Or about 5 inches or so?
If it's a lot, it might be the wrong mount. Keep in mind, the frame mount on the chassis is in a different location on a automatic car and a manual car.
You probably knew this already though. Hehe.

The hole that the long 17mm bolt goes into is about a inch off. We had it in place but it caused the driver side mount to stretch and it looked as though one launch from the 4 puck stage 5 clutch i have installed would bust it wide open. we rigged up something to work in its place though. A freind of ours who owns a shop tipped us on how he used automatic brakets to work ill post pics later on how we did it and the horrible fitment issues
Here are the pics that i posted on local forum

Put the motor in and first bolt the rear tranny bracket to the rear mount but just start the bolt and don't torque it down (if you tighten any bolts down, which is sounds like you're doing, then the motor will be very hard to move around). After the rear is in, then do both sides.... put the tranny mount in and put the driver side mount in but just start the bolts, don't tighten down yet. After you get the motor mounted in and the bolts started, now tighten them all down to spec.
A common problem people always run into when doing the EG-AT mount swap, if the motor is already in, is that they don't loosen up the other motor mounts and then complain that the mount is off. With any motor mounts, stock or aftermarket, if you don't loosen anything up it'll be next to impossible to move the motor around into the position that you want it in. If you've done motor swaps in the past, then you know what I'm talking about.

The problem is that the mount is made for a 92-95 Civic ONLY. It will not fit the Integra chassis. Return it, I think only Hasport makes the mount you are looking for.

</TD></TR></TABLE> Ive swaped motors enough to no what im doing and that method dont work the mount is like a whole inch off

It stretches the driver side mount to the point that it will bust easly. Im sending the mount back in return for my money. Also there are no marking's on the mount to say what it is. FOr all we no it could have been a EF mount for b series motors who knows.

The car was on jacks stands off and on because we had to raise and lower the car often. You should think before opening your mouth to show how much of a dumbass you are.

I helped the owner of the car with this swap. There is NO way this mount would work on his car. I've done 2498572497697 honda swaps and know that the mount doesn't fit.
locash is probably right about it only being for civics and not integras.
Thanks to Huy from Inline Racing in Houston for the very helpful insight on how to make the stock auto mount fit with a little bit of fabbing. I owe you one man.
