I posted a couple weeks ago about having my tach jump and hesitations, well i replaced the ignitor and the tach stopped but the hesitation became worse, I also replaced the cap and rotor as well. I know it is either spark or fuel and my friend thinks it is the sock on the fuel pump. It idles perfect, but when i put any type of load on the motor is when it happens. So if anyone hasany idea on what it could be or is it the fuel fitler or the sock.
Does it hesitate when you give it a lot of gas??
one problem might be that you have some water in the distributer cap..
this happen to me ........just take the distributer cap off and dry the inside.
It does take much ..most of the time it is just moisture.

well i just replaced most of the distributor and all that seems to be going fine, the only thing is that when i turned the car on after the new ignitor was in then there was this ticking noice by the fuse box that is inside, then my dome light, that didn't work, came on and stuff like that, maybe i blew a fuse or something, i need to check it out, the only problem is that the car is at my parents and i go there to work my second job and i barely have time to do things like this. But i will check and see but any other info would be helpful.
