Default Bumper Help

I got my intercooler all fit up and now Im not sure how Im going to get the bumper back on. I had to take the support beam out and now I dunno how I should mount the bumper. What did everyone else do to fix this?

which intercooler are you using? check if it will clear the beam with some minor fabrication, grind whatever excess metal is hitting on the IC and if that is not possible just try to make some custom brackets to bolt up the bumper cover with out the beam. you can get some sturdy strips of thin steel at Homedepot or a place of that sort, thats what we had to do with my couisin's rex! OH by the way of the topic, where did you get the baby clip on your profile the one shifting and driving ,lol. My wife is expecting and i would like her to have one, I keep telling her i'm gonna teach my future daughter to race! Thanx!

Heres a pic of the intercooler if its any help.

Does the bumper attach mainly to the support beam? Or can I just use what ever attachments are left to secure it?

Like i said you can use the bumper bracket locations to attach it and all the other ones on the side . But for the bumper brackets without the beam you will have to custom make your own brackets for best fit. I'll try to get you some pic of the one we did if i can find them.

Its actually a CCA intercooler. You can check them out at speedpartsrus.com. Its not specifically for CRXs, but I had the end tanks rewelded to work better for my setup.
