Alright, just finished installing intercooler. does anyone else have the problem where it hangs below their front bumper?? its like 1 1/2" below the front bumper.


what are my options? can i just put on a lip to cover it up?
how is everyone else doing it?

 

Did you cut into your bumper support?

 

nope, just bolted directly on bumper support. was i suppost to cut into it?

 

I would cut the bumper support, I would rather have a scratched up bumper than risk putting a hole in the bottom of the intercooler. Just cut the shape of the intercooler on the bumper support. People do take the whole thing out.

how much more unsafe would it be to take out the whole bumper support?

 

yeah, i trimmed my bumper support along the bottom edge a little to bring the i/c up:

 

I am going to hack my bumper support to hell cause its in the way... I mostly need the mounting points for the front bumper.
