That wouldn't be very effective since the 'lock' can be turned with any flat piece of metal.

I put quotes around the word lock because these things are more like an on/off switch with a detachable **** meant to be used as emercency power cut-off switches.

that's more of a racecar thing that you have on the outer body of the car... not something most people use for a alarm-type killswitch...

Thats part of a lot of stuff Mugen has for DC5s in the Honda Onemake Race Association events. Check out http://www.hoa.jp I think the regulations state you have to have a battery cutoff switch which can be operated from inside AND outside the car.

There's also front/rear towhooks, bonnet pins, tailgate fastener, drivers footrest, foot panel, Accel pedal stopper, side lining, fire extinguisher, seat rails, roll cage, window net, ECU, ECU mount bracket, fuel pressure regulator, oil catch tank, transmission cooler, clutch, oil pan, aluminum radiator, engine oil, etc. LOTS of Mugen stuff you don't see over there in the US.

Why would you want track stuff on a street car?

If you're interested in car security check out Thatcham Category 1 at http://www.thatcham.org

If you want Security, rig up a kill switch for your fuel pump and ignition. $10 later, it's hard to start your car without knowing where the switches were.
