Default mugen thermostat

ok so my car is getting ctr pistons, and a mugen head gasket put on this week and some on recomended me I get a mugen thermostat, so I picked one up for cheap. Now for the thermostat, is that all I need to install or are there any other parts involved? also, will I notice a difference with the thermostat installed? any one have any comments about these mugen thermostats?

I could be wrong but is there a fan switch that comes on earlier or something....or is that a Spooom thing? If that is the case I would buy it depending on when the Thermostat does its thing.

i think you are talking about a fan switch, and i am pretty sure that you don't. Get a new gasket though, if it didnt already come with one.

yes get a new gasket also if it doesn't come with one.

and plus, just because they recommended a new thermostat, did they tell you what it does?

and don't say make the engine run cooler which in turms make it more efficient...
search the archieves and see if you really need it for your application

the thermo switch read temp to send signal to the fan....i believe.....
reads temp to open the thermostat, in trun when the thermostat opens the fan switch turns on the fan....you should use the mugen thermo switch bc they were made to work together...
the mugen thermostat opens at a lower water temp....
